Something most developers miss about scoreboards and timeboards: they're not just score trackers or time trackers, they're silent gameplay teachers.

Every time a player glances at your leaderboard, you're showing them what's possible. You're revealing new ways to play, new goals to chase, and new definitions of success they might not have considered.

The real victory isn't who tops the charts, it's how those charts expand every player's understanding of your game.

How many games have you played that contain a leaderboard? Would it be a highscores leaderboard listing the players best scores, but also one listing the best time for a given level.

And more importantly, do you remember how you felt in that moment when you beat your best friend's score? How incredible that was?

GameRank would have no use if it wasn't usable with all existing game development engines, but of course, it is compatible!

To demonstrate it, we have created a very basic game using GameRank to manage its scores leaderboard.
